Vivid shade

Blue hair, on your own photo first.

This blue is a deep denim shade: bold but not neon. It looks striking on light hair and moody as a tint on darker hair. See it on your own hair in seconds, before anyone opens a tube of dye.

Is blue right for you?

Who it suits

Cool undertones, fair or deep skin with contrast, and anyone happy to stand out. Warm, golden skin can look sallow next to blue, so try it first.

What to ask your colourist

A semi-permanent blue over hair lightened to about level 8–9 for a true blue. Yellow left in the hair turns blue towards green, so a clean base matters.

Keeping it fresh

Blue fades towards teal and green. Wash less, in cool water, and top up with a blue colour conditioner.

Questions

Blue hair colour

Will blue hair turn green?

It can as it fades over a yellow base. A well-toned, pale base and regular top-ups prevent most of it.

Can I get blue on dark hair without bleach?

Only as a subtle tint that shows in the sun.

Will my real colour look like the preview?

Take it as a direction, not a promise. The salon result depends on your current colour, your hair’s condition, the products and your colourist, and the light in your photo changes how a shade reads.

The demo model is an AI-generated photo. Previews are made in the studio on your device and show a direction, not a guaranteed salon result.
